New AI System Solves Complex 3D Box Rearrangement Tasks Using Visual Language Models

Researchers introduced RAMP-3D, an AI system that understands natural-language commands to rearrange boxes in 3D environments by predicting what objects to move and where to place them. The approach achieved 79.5% success on complex warehouse tasks, outperforming existing 2D vision-language models and symbolic planners.
